Yin Yoga with Amanda

A 60 minute class designed to calm the nervous system through the use of breath, mindfulness, and yin-style yoga sequencing.  Each yoga asana will be held for 3-5 minutes, with the intention of providing space for the passive release of connective tissue (ie. tendons, ligaments, fascia).  Leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed - a great way to end your work day!  Amanda's deep understanding of the human body comes through formal education, hands on work with clients, independent studies and over ten years of teaching yoga and dance.  In addition to her college background in neuroscience, she graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2017, where she focused on the relationship between connective tissue and the nervous system.  Her science-based approach to wellness is ignited by intuition, presence, and a deep reverence for the unknown.  Visit her website to learn more: www.amandaleaveck.com
