Stories Behind the Menu - Ticket Package for the Remaining Three Dinner Parties of 2022

    Purchasing this ticket allows you to join us for the final three Stories Behind The Menu dinner parties on May 5th, September 8th, and December 8th from 6:30pm - 9pm.Sandifer and Burton will be partnering with local chefs to create a cultural voyage of African American, Central American, Israeli, and Indigenous delicious food and rich storytelling. The events will be held quarterly in person at ModernWell and will be focused on a book related to the particular ethnicity and culture.The second of the series, Stories Behind the Menu - Delicious Central America, An Amazing Cultural Experience, will be held May 5th from 6:30pm - 9pm. The event features Chef Amalia Moreno-Damgaard, author ofAmalia's Mesoamerican Table-Ancient Traditions with Gourmet Infusions.The third of the series, Stories Behind the Menu - The Rich Ethnic Mosaic of Israeli Food - A Culinary Exploration with Chef Zehorit Heilicher, will be held September 8th from 6:30pm - 9pm. The event features the cookbook Sababa: Fresh, Sunny Flavors From My Israeli Kitchen by Adeena Sussman, as well as food prepared by Chef Zehorit Heilicher.The last of the series, Stories Behind the Menu— The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen, will be held December 8th from 6:30pm - 9pm. The event features Chef Sean Sherman of Owamni restaurant and author of The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen.Events are sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, and Alliance Bernstein.
