This introductory course to American MahJongg will show you everything we’ve learned to love about the wonderful world of “MAHJ” - the snacks, the chat, and, of course the game! In this three-part series you will learn the basics, be able to ask questions, and get plenty of practice. Soon you master this exciting and challenging game of skill, strategy, and luck. MahJongg is an excellent way to bond with family and friends, create community, and keep you quick on your toes! No equipment needed, just come pull up a chair and join us! Instructors Abbe Blacker and Karen Goldfarb are both “Mahj” enthusiasts. After teaching many, many people they can tell you, once you learn how to play properly, you won’t be able to get enough of it! NOTE: This event is a 3-part series.
