The Birth Circle w/ Sue Chargo

Are you a new mom, pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant? If so, join us for our very first Birth Circle session. It is a way for you to share your thoughts or concerns about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Each birth Circle will have a unique theme to help focus the stories that are told and have a different mix of participants. This first session will focus on "Expectations"!  The Birth Circle is an informal discussion and support group for women to share their thoughts or concerns about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. It is a chance to meet people, to share experiences and to ask questions about the journey to motherhood in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. It is also a great way to connect with other pregnant and new moms in the community. The Birth Circle is focused on new moms or pregnant women, but all women are welcome, even if your baby is not so new or you are just thinking about getting pregnant. Grandmothers, sisters, friends and female partners are all welcome. New moms can bring non-mobile babies in arms or take the opportunity for a mom's day out. Each Birth Circle will have a unique theme to help focus the stories that are told and have a different mix of participants.  Each Birth Circle will include refreshments and snacks . Sue is an ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and holds a Master’s Degree in Family Education. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Once Sue became a mother she realized her passion for Family Education. She has taught ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) since 1999 and has taught childbirth and new parent classes since 2006. She is passionate about teaching and loves watching the transformation of the families she works with. Susan is the owner and operator of New Heart Doula Care, LLC working as a full-time birth and postpartum doula.
