Yes You Can! Setting and Actualizing Your 2020 Goals!

    It’s 2020!! You’ve got resolutions, ideas, dreams, and goals. You want to write a book, start a business, a blog, a podcast, do something creative, lose weight, be happier, read more, yell at your kids less, like your partner more, like yourself more, take better care of yourself, be a better leader in your family, in your community.  But, where do you even start? We are already faced with demanding schedules that make us feel pulled in every direction. We feel like it’s impossible to keep up with what is already expected of us, so how would it be possible to take on a new goal that comes with a new to-do list? The overwhelm of starting something new or making change in our lives, while managing our existing chaos feels insurmountable. Yet we believe you CAN achieve your goals! ModernWell Founder Julie Burton and designer/entrepreneur Kim Senn are joining forces to facilitate Yes You Can! Setting and Actualizing your 2020 Goals.  This 6-week program is an opportunity to take a huge step back from your everyday life and really stop to think about how you currently spend your time and how that aligns with how you WANT to spend your time. Through structured discussions and accountability exercises, you will solidify your why/how/when and gain the tools to calm your chaos and move your plans into action. Our foundation for the working sessions will be the Calm Within the Chaos workbook that will help you re-imagine your every day to feel more joyful and fulfilled, and less chaotic. Additionally, our accountability/sounding board group will create the structure and support needed for you to dig into your goals, your "crazy" idea for your new side hustle, or your desire to make a change in your life and make it stick. Julie is the owner of ModernWell, author of The Self-Care Solution--A Modern Mother’s Must-Have Guide to Health and Well-Being, a fitness and writing instructor, and mom of four who has chased dreams her whole life, and the ones that turned into realities occurred because she was part of a group that inspired her to be accountable, and gave her the support she needed when self-doubt crept in (because it ALWAYS does!).  Kim Senn is a designer and entrepreneur with a background in global branding and advertising, a mom of two energetic young boys and a rescue pup, creator of Calm Within the Chaos, founder of design studio Senn & Sons that collaborates with brands like Blue Sky Planners to bring useful and beautiful planning tools to Target stores across the country, and co-founder of a start-up in the baby/kids category that will be launching in the spring of 2020. In this group, you will: Connect with yourself  Connect with others Empower yourself  Challenge yourself Be vulnerable Be accountable Evolve Inspire and be inspired Understand your obstacles Learn how to move through them or reframe them Move toward realizing your goal This supportive and constructive group will meet for 6 weeks on Monday mornings 9:30-11am so you can create a clear path for each week. Within these 90 minutes, you can expect a 3-minute grounding meditation, check-ins, workshopping, strategizing, and actionable take-aways.
